Description
We travelled deep into the mountains of Guizhou, China to see if traditional craft and heritage still existed. There, we found handmade huacao paper — “flowers, bark, grass” — one of ancient China’s oldest papermaking traditions still practiced by hand today.
Made from local plant fibers and dried naturally, each book carries its own textures, markings, and irregularities. No two are exactly alike. Each piece is entirely one of a kind.
- By Master Artisan Wang Xingwu in Danzhai County, Guizhou.
- Flowers, Grass, Bark
- photos of the books opened are examples of the pages
- each book is unique and one of a kind

Care
Our silk is naturally anti-microbial and very durable: you can wear it many times before washing. But when it's time, hand wash with cold water and a mild soap. Hang to dry. Steam to remove any wrinkles. If ironing, iron on low heat.
