Baobei: The Papermakers

Tucked away in the mountains of Danzhai, Guizhou, we visited a village where the ancient craft of papermaking has been passed down for generations. Paper is still made here by hand from flowers, bark and grass. Each sheet is unique, a mirror of the landscape it comes from. We met a 93-year old papermaker, the 19th generation of his family to carry the craft forward.
