These are handwoven bamboo gift/storage pouches with a fitted lid, crafted in Indonesia using traditional bamboo weaving techniques. These pouches are sturdy and structured, designed to be reused over and over again. 

  • 100% bamboo. Crafted using a traditional Indonesian bamboo weaving technique rooted in centuries of craftsmanship. Across the archipelago, artisans split, soften, and hand-strip bamboo into thin, flexible slats before weaving them into form using a diagonal anyaman (woven) pattern. Each strip interlocks to create structure without the need for stitching or hardware.
  • Finished with hand sewn 100% Xiang Yun Sha Silk frog closure, silk thread, and Jade stone button. 
  • Measures 10" x 8.”

All discoloration, spots and idiosyncrasies are from the natural construction process and make each item unique.

Our silk is naturally anti-microbial and very durable: you can wear it many times before washing. But when it's time, hand wash with cold water and a mild soap. Hang to dry. Steam to remove any wrinkles. If ironing, iron on low heat.
